Job summary

Vizient is seeking an experienced Cloud/SRE engineer to partner with Software Engineering, Cloud Operations, Architecture, Security and Product teams to build, support, and operate secure, reliable, and scalable cloud products across Azure and AWS.

The role remains hands‑on while providing technical leadership across multiple teams, focusing on cloud operations, automation, observability, reliability, and platform excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field preferred.
• 7+ years of software engineering, platform engineering, DevOps, cloud engineering, or SRE experience required.
• Strong experience designing, implementing, and supporting Azure/AWS cloud solutions in enterprise environments.
• Experience with IaC technologies such as Pulumi, Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar platforms.
• Experience building and supporting CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation processes.
• Strong understanding of cloud networking, IAM, security controls, secrets management, and infrastructure governance practices.
• Experience implementing observability platforms and Dynatrace or comparable tools.
• Experience with automation scripting in languages such as TypeScript, Python, PowerShell, Bash.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a shared engineering resource supporting multiple software development teams.
• Partner with Engineering, Cloud Operations, Security, and Architecture to establish and maintain cloud infrastructure standards.
• Design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure using IaC (Pulumi).</br>
• Build and maintain reusable infrastructure templates, deployment patterns, automation frameworks, and platform services.
• Support AWS cloud environments, including networking, security, IAM, monitoring, and governance.
• Provide operational support and troubleshooting for cloud environments, pipelines, and production services.
• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation processes.
• Configure observability solutions, dashboards, alerting, and runbooks.
• Lead incident response activities and post‑incident reviews.
• Mentor engineers on cloud technologies, observability, and deployment strategies.
