Job summary

Vizient is seeking an experienced cloud engineering professional to partner with software, cloud operations, security, and product teams. You will build, support, and operate secure, scalable cloud products across Azure/AWS with a strong emphasis on IaC, automation, and reliability.

The role remains hands-on while providing technical leadership across teams. The ideal candidate combines software engineering, DevOps, SRE, and cloud platform expertise to improve reliability and efficiency,

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
7+ years in software engineering, platform engineering, DevOps, cloud engineering, or SRE.
Extensive experience with Azure/AWS cloud solutions in enterprise environments.
Experience with IaC (Pulumi/Terraform/CloudFormation) and CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

Partner with multiple teams to build and operate secure, scalable cloud products.
Design and maintain cloud infrastructure using IaC technologies (Pulumi, Terraform, CloudFormation).
Develop reusable infrastructure templates and deployment patterns.
Support AWS/Azure environments: networking, IAM, monitoring, security, governance.
Implement CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation for reliable software delivery.
Configure observability, dashboards, logs, alerts, and runbooks.
Lead incident response, RCA, and reliability enhancement initiatives.
Mentor engineers on cloud technologies, observability, and automation.
