Job summary

Strategic Business Systems, Inc. (SBS) is seeking a Senior Cloud/DevOps Engineer to support a cutting-edge modeling framework for the IC.

This role requires an active TS/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph and a strong commitment to secure, reliable infrastructure. You will lead hands-on engineering, operations, and the maintenance of scalable Linux-based IT infrastructure across hybrid environments, with AWS experience highly desired and Kubernetes expertise in production.

Qualifications

• Linux administration and AWS-based high-availability systems.
• CI/CD implementation experience.
• Kubernetes in production.
• Scripting in Bash and Python.
• Security and vulnerability management.
• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph required.
• CompTIA Security+ or IAT II certification.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on engineering, operations, and maintenance of scalable IT infrastructure
• Administration of Linux servers in a hybrid on-premise and cloud environment; AWS experience preferred
• DevOps processes and toolsets to support software teams in dev, test, production
• Collaborate on technical direction in an Agile team
• Coordinate with Information System Security Officers to implement standards in system architecture
• Assist external customers with development and troubleshooting of IT and software systems
• Encouraging and building automated processes; identify and deploy cybersecurity measures via vulnerability assessment and risk management
• Monitoring and measuring customer experience and KPIs
