Job summary

Floor & Decor is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to design, automate, and optimize cloud platforms. You will partner with engineering to improve reliability, deployments, and security while enabling scalable environments.

Expect to lead CI/CD improvements and mentor teammates in a fast-growing setting. Key requirements include 5+ years in DevOps/cloud roles, strong Terraform, Azure, APIM experience, and familiarity with Dynatrace for observability.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, cloud engineering, or related roles.
• Strong hands-on Terraform for infrastructure as code.
• Proven experience with Microsoft Azure in production.
• Experience with Azure API Management (APIM).
• Ability to troubleshoot across distributed systems and cloud infra.
• Experience with Dynatrace or similar monitoring tools.
• Proficient in Git-based version control and CI/CD practices.
• Ability to mentor teammates and influence technical decisions.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain infrastructure using Terraform for scalable cloud environments.
• Develop and manage Azure-based solutions, including deployment and optimization.
• Configure Azure API Management (APIM) for secure, reliable integrations.
• Administer messaging systems like ActiveMQ with high availability.
• Monitor performance with Dynatrace and proactively resolve issues.
• Lead root-cause analysis for complex system and infra problems.
• Collaborate with dev teams to enhance CI/CD pipelines and deployments.
• Mentor juniors and contribute to DevOps best practices.
