nCino, a leading cloud banking software provider in Wilmington, NC, seeks a Senior Cloud Operations Engineer to keep our AWS environment automated, secure, and highly available for engineering teams and customers.

You will build deployment automation, monitoring, and disaster recovery while evaluating new tools and maintaining security controls across the infrastructure. The role requires several years of hands-on AWS experience and scripting skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related field with 4+ years in IT or Business Systems.
• 2+ years supporting customer-facing production systems in data center or cloud.
• 3+ years of AWS tech with 2+ services (EC2, S3, IAM, etc.).
• Python or Bash scripting experience.
• IT systems/applications configuration and implementation understanding.
• Knowledge of information security for cloud systems.

Responsabilités

• Implement configuration and automation tools for deploying, testing, packaging, and upgrading software across our infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot moderate to complex issues in cloud environments with limited supervision.
• Evaluate new applications and tools to meet business requirements.
• Ensure optimal performance and functionality for systems and technologies.
• Verifies application results by conducting system audits of technologies implemented.
• Assist in design, testing and implementing disaster recovery and backup procedures and information security controls.
• Implement monitoring tools to ensure high system availability.
• Assist to ensure information security and compliance requirements are met.
• Perform system administrative tasks and design technical solutions.
• Create reports and dashboards.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to develop architecture, configuration, and troubleshooting documentation.
