Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a Sr Cloud DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and operate a multi-tenant WCMaaS platform from Arlington, VA with remote flexibility. You will lead cloud architecture, automation, and DevSecOps while mentoring engineers and aligning solutions with stakeholder needs.

The role demands deep cloud expertise, strong leadership, and a track record in enterprise cloud architectures, Linux/Ansible, and public/hybrid cloud strategies.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship required.
• Ability to pass a Public Trust investigation.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum of 12 years of related experience.
• Cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect, AWS DevOps Engineer, RHCE).
• Broad background in cloud services, infrastructure automation, DevSecOps, open-source ecosystems, and enterprise cloud architectures.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership for design, implementation, and O&M of a multi-tenant WCMaaS platform.
• Optimize AWS cloud platform services across integration points and serve as cloud SME.
• Lead solution-architecting sessions balancing design, risk, and cost.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to design, plan, and implement sustainable solutions.
• Mentor junior engineers and establish best practices to improve delivery processes.
• Develop implementation plans with timelines and ownership assignments.
