Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a DevSecOps / Cloud Engineer to support CI/CD, STIG compliance, and cloud migration for a federal program with USACE CWBI Cloud. The role focuses on automating security scanning and remediation across the development pipeline and migrating legacy apps to the CWBI Cloud.

You will work in a remote US-based setting, collaborating in Agile sprints to deliver secure, scalable solutions compliant with DoD governance and RMF policies.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship required.
• Minimum active Tier 1 federal background investigation prior to start.
• Bachelor's degree in CS, Information Security, or related field (or equivalent).
• 5–7 years in DevSecOps, cloud engineering, or information security.
• Experience with modern DevSecOps pipelines and GitHub.
• Experience with AWS GovCloud migrations and DoD cloud projects.
• Knowledge of secure coding and DoD STIGs in CI/CD.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines in CWBI GitHub Enterprise.
• Automate DoD STIG compliance checks and vulnerability scanning (ACAS/SCAP).
• Support migration of on-prem apps to the USACE CWBI Cloud.
• Architect cloud solutions using SaaS/PaaS and microservices where feasible.
• Deploy applications using CWBI PMO-approved hardened images (Iron Bank).
• Document AI/ML systems, models, and data lineage in the Civil Works Data Catalog.
• Ensure AI/ML development occurs in RMF-authorized AWS GovCloud environment.
• Coordinate with CWBI support to implement identity providers (Login.gov, OpenID, Keycloak).
• Participate in two-week Agile sprints and contribute to release planning.
