Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking an experienced Infrastructure DevOps Engineer to modernize and manage our enterprise cloud platforms. The role focuses on automation, standardization, and operational optimization across AWS and Azure, working within the IT Infrastructure team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field.
• 5+ years infrastructure engineering experience.
• 5+ years designing and implementing AWS and Azure infrastructure and platform services.
• Experience with DevOps practices and pipeline controls.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain DevOps CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure and platform workloads.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or similar templates.
• Develop and expand automation using Ansible and modern cloud capabilities.
• Automate provisioning, configuration, and lifecycle management of cloud infrastructure.
• Support cloud landing zones, subscriptions, resource groups, and naming standards.
• Partner with application and platform teams to provide reliable infrastructure patterns.
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting to measure usage and performance.
• Support security and compliance requirements including identity, encryption, logging, and access controls.
• Participate in operational support, incident response, and root cause analysis.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, diagrams, and runbooks.
• Work with Systems Administrators to develop operational procedures.
