Job summary

Strategic Business Systems, Inc. (SBS) seeks a Sr Cloud Developer to design and maintain scalable AWS-based apps. You will use Node.js, React, AWS services, and modern frameworks to deliver cloud-first solutions for government-grade IL-4/5 workloads.

Onsite in Chantilly, VA with citizenship clearable requirement. Responsibilities include deploying with CDK, building REST APIs, securing with IAM/Secrets, and guiding architecture.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Node.js REST API development with AWS Lambda.
• Proficiency with React.js 18+ and Material UI.
• Strong TypeScript and ECMAScript knowledge.
• Experience with AWS services (Gateway, Lambda, Step Functions, S3, RDS Postgres, DynamoDB, SQS).
• Security tooling: IAM, SSM, Secrets Manager.
• SQL query optimization expertise.

Responsibilities

• Design and deploy cloud infrastructure using AWS CDK and SDK.
• Develop REST APIs with Node.js 18+ and AWS Lambda.
• Build UI components with React.js 18+ and Material UI.
• Optimize performance of SQL queries and data access.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on cloud-first solutions.
• Conduct code reviews and contribute to architecture discussions.
