Strategic Business Systems in Chantilly, VA is seeking a Senior Cloud Developer to design, build, and maintain scalable, secure AWS-based applications. You will work onsite in Chantilly and contribute to a cloud platform enabling IL-4/5 workloads for government clients.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on Node.js REST API development with AWS Lambda.
• Proficient in React.js 18+ and Material UI.
• Strong TypeScript 4+ and ECMAScript 2020/11+ knowledge.
• Experience with AWS CDK and AWS services (Gateway, Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, RDS, SQS).
• Security with IAM, SSM, Secrets Manager.
• SQL performance optimization expertise.

Responsibilities

• Design and deploy cloud infrastructure using AWS CDK and SDK.
• Develop REST APIs with Node.js 18+ on AWS Lambda.
• Build responsive UI with React.js 18+ and Material UI.
• Implement state management using TanStack and Axios.
• Ensure secure access with IAM/Secrets Manager.
• Optimize SQL queries for performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and participate in code reviews.
• Stay current with cloud technologies and best practices.
