Job summary

InnovAge is seeking a Database Engineer III to lead end-to-end development, testing and production deployment of cloud-based data products. You will design complex data models, build data pipelines, and optimize performance across large datasets while collaborating with DBA and Production Services teams.

Responsibilities include evaluating new technologies, mentoring junior engineers, and leading design efforts that align with IT strategy and SDLC standards.

Qualifications

• 5+ yrs Data Management experience proposing, documenting technology solutions and development experience with a focus on database architecture and data integration.
• 8+ years of hands-on data development experience with engineering principles and analytics.
• Fluent in SQL (any flavor) with design, development and deployment of data warehouses or data marts.
• Relational database management systems and ELT development skills.
• Experience with cloud migrations is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Designs and creates complex data models, develops and implements data products to support business needs.
• Analyzes informational needs, data relationships, storage requirements and data output capabilities.
• Tests designed applications using database management software and programming tools.
• Gathers system metrics and develops performance enhancements with measurable benchmarks.
• Owns the design/modeling portion of data projects through all stages, aligning with IT Strategy and architecture.
