Job summary

Baptist Health South Florida is seeking a Lead Cloud Data Engineer in Florida (onsite) to design, build, and maintain scalable data systems and automated data pipelines for a growing healthcare data ecosystem.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, ensure production support with SLA adherence, and apply HIPAA-compliant data security practices while enabling advanced analytics and BI workflows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS or related field required.
• 10+ years of data engineering with a Bachelor’s or 8+ with a Master’s.
• Experience with large-scale data warehousing and analytics.
• Healthcare data security and HIPAA compliance knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data systems and pipelines.
• Provide production support and SLA adherence.
• Implement data models and modern data platform solutions.
• Work with AWS and GCP data services for data warehousing and analytics.
