Job summary

The role blends deep technical leadership with healthcare domain experience to align data solutions with AbsoluteCare's business goals and care delivery models. Candidates will work on enhancing existing systems or creating new ones while mentoring junior engineers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in IT, health sciences, or related field.
• 5+ years data engineering with 1-2 years leadership.
• Healthcare data experience with Claims, Eligibility, HIEs, EHRs preferred.
• Proficient in SQL, Python, ETL tools; MS Excel

Responsibilities

• Architect and maintain data infrastructure, including ETL pipelines, data lakes, and data warehouses.
• Lead data pipelines for healthcare payer and clinical data.
• Ensure data quality, governance, and HIPAA compliance.
• Oversee interoperability and cloud migration strategies.
• Mentor and guide junior and mid-level data engineers.
• Collaborate with Clinical, Risk Adjustment, and Quality teams.
• Support predictive analytics and risk modeling.
• Drive automation and standardization of data processes.
• Contribute to roadmap for data warehouse modernization and cloud enablement.
• Translate business needs into IT solutions.
• Relate disparate data sets to actionable insights.
• Support ad-hoc and standardized reports for leadership and customers.
• Troubleshoot and align reporting needs with available data sets.
