Job summary

Tech9 is seeking a senior data engineer to lead cloud migration efforts from legacy SQL Server/SSRS/SSAS systems to Azure-based platforms, including Databricks and PowerBI. You will design dimensional models, manage ETL pipelines with DBT, and build semantic layers for analytics across global stakeholders.

You will collaborate with outsourced vendors and internal teams, implement CI/CD with Azure DevOps, and ensure scalable reporting structures using PowerBI Fabric.

Qualifications

• Experience migrating data from SQL Server/SSRS/SSAS to Azure-based data platforms.
• Proficient in DBT for ETL and dimensional modeling.
• Strong Python automation and REST API integration.

Responsibilities

• Migrate legacy data to Azure Databricks and PowerBI tooling.
• Design data warehousing with dimensional modeling.
• Build ETL pipelines with DBT and Databricks notebooks.
