Job summary

RegEd is seeking a senior Data Architect to design and evolve a cloud-native, multi-tenant data platform serving 200+ clients. You will own the metadata-driven integration stack using Databricks, Azure Data Lake Gen2, and Unity Catalog, enabling flexible data ingestion through configurable mappings and transformations.

You will collaborate with data engineering, platform, and product teams to craft durable architectural patterns, manage Azure Data Factory and Databricks pipelines, and drive data

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in data science and development.
• Strong knowledge of data modeling, data warehousing, and data integrations techniques.
• Experience with programming languages such as Phyton, R, and SQL.
• Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop and Spark.
• Experience with cloud-based data solutions such as AWS and Azure.

Responsibilities

• Review client-provided documents to ensure they meet minimum requirements for development.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business needs and develop strategies to meet those needs.
• Develop and maintain data governance policies and procedures.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in a data science and development.
