RegEd is seeking a Data Architect to own the design and evolution of a cloud-native data platform serving 200+ clients in a multi-tenant SaaS environment. You will lead metadata-driven architecture built on Databricks, Azure Data Lake Gen2, and Unity Catalog, enabling flexible ingestion and transformations.

Qualifications

• Review client documents to ensure they meet requirements for development.
• Develop data governance policies and procedures.
• Stay up-to-date with trends in data science and development.
• Bachelor’s degree required; 10+ years of experience.
• Strong knowledge of data modeling, warehousing and integrations.
• Experience with Phyton, R and SQL; Hadoop and Spark; AWS and Azure.

Responsibilities

• Own the design and evolution of the cloud-native data platform serving 200+ clients.
• Lead architecture of a metadata-driven data integration platform (Databricks, ADLSGen2).
• Design and deliver features; translate requirements into durable patterns.
• Own Azure Data Factory and Databricks pipeline architecture.
• Drive data governance including Unity Catalog and Purview across 30TB+ estate.
• Collaborate with data, platform engineering and product teams.
