Job summary

RegEd is seeking an experienced Data Architect to lead the design of a cloud-native data platform serving 200+ clients in a multi-tenant SaaS setup. You will architect metadata-driven pipelines on Databricks and Azure Data Lake Gen2, enabling flexible data ingestion and transformations.

You will partner with data engineering, platform teams and product to evolve Azure Data Factory and Databricks pipelines, drive Unity Catalog governance, and shape a scalable data estate with 30TB+ of data.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in data science and development.
• Strong knowledge of data modeling, data warehousing, and data integrations techniques.
• Experience with programming languages such as Python, R, and SQL.
• Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop and Spark.
• Experience with cloud-based data solutions such as AWS and Azure.

Responsibilities

• Review client-provided documents to ensure they meet minimum requirements for development.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business needs and develop strategies to meet those needs.
• Develop and maintain data governance policies and procedures.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in data science and development.
