RegEd is a leading RegTech company delivering cloud-native data architecture for a multi-tenant SaaS platform used by 200+ clients. The Data Architect will own the design and evolution of the data platform, architecting a metadata-driven integration layer on Databricks, Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2, and Unity Catalog to enable flexible data ingestion and governance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in data science and development.
• Strong knowledge of data modeling, data warehousing, and data integration techniques.
• Experience with programming languages such as Python, R, and SQL.
• Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop and Spark.
• Experience with cloud-based data solutions such as AWS and Azure.

Responsibilities

• Review client-provided documents to ensure they meet minimum requirements for development.
• Develop and maintain data governance policies and procedures.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in data science and development.
• Collaborate with data engineering, platform engineering, and product teams to design and deliver new features.
• Own our Azure Data Factory and Databricks pipeline architecture and drive the data governance model.
