Job summary

CapTech Data Architects design and govern scalable data architectures for clients, focusing on data delivery, data quality, and effective stewardship. You will align technology choices with business goals and drive data strategy across complex environments.

Working with AWS/Azure/GCP, Snowflake, Databricks, Kafka, and Airflow, you will lead data initiatives, mentor teams, and collaborate with stakeholders to maximize data value for client outcomes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience implementing data management, integration, visualization, and analytics technologies.
• End-to-end data architecture skills including ingestion, storage, and relational modeling using SQL and Python.
• Experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP), real-time data distribution, NoSQL and modern data warehouses.
• Ability to relate architecture decisions to business needs and client culture.
• Familiarity with data governance practices including MDM, security, privacy, and policies.

Responsibilities

• Assess data management technologies and close gaps to target future state.
• Improve data integration, quality, and delivery to support business initiatives and roadmaps.
• Articulate architectural trade-offs and recommend optimal solutions.
• Mentor staff and develop hard and soft technical skills.
