Syms Strategic Group (SSG) is seeking a Senior Configuration Engineer to support VA applications and migrate to the cloud from a remote location. You will lead CM and release activities across multiple environments and develop standards for software configuration management.

The role requires deep CM expertise, experience with regulated/federal environments, and mentoring of junior analysts. Candidates must be US citizens and able to obtain a Public Trust clearance; this is a 100% US-based

Qualifikationen

• Experience leading complex software builds and releases.
• Experience in regulated or federal environments.
• Deep CM and release engineering expertise.

Aufgaben

• Support VA applications and spearhead the migration to the cloud.
• Develop and maintain CM tools for identification, control, reporting, and delivery of software and COTS products.
• Perform CM and release engineering tasks to ensure build parameters comply with hardware configurations and are logistically sustainable.
• Design, develop, automate, and maintain productivity tools to improve software modeling and development.
• Design and implement build procedures to support software product development and use.
• Develop software configuration standards for company-wide use.
• Train developers in CM tools and quality standards.
