Cisco Systems’ Cloud Capacity Planning team seeks a senior capacity planner to build a rolling forecast by CSP, region, workload and resource type, turning demand into confirmed supply and ensuring on-time capacity across regions. You will collaborate with sales, engineering and FinOps, mentor teammates and introduce AI-enabled tools to speed forecasting and accuracy across every region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of related experience, or a master’s with 6+ years.
• Experience in cloud capacity planning with AWS/Azure/GCP.
• Experience building demand forecasts and scenario models.
• Experience building reports and dashboards.
• Experience working with FinOps on cloud cost management and reservations.

Responsibilities

• Build rolling capacity forecasts by CSP, region, workload, and resource type.
• Compare demand vs. available supply and coordinate with CSPs on reservations.
• Collaborate with sales, engineering and FinOps to align lead times and cost controls.
• Mentor fellow capacity planners and drive AI-enabled forecasting improvements.
• Measure success with forecast accuracy and on-time capacity plans.
