Job summary

PepsiCo Deutschland GmbH is seeking an experienced DevOps engineer to design, develop, and maintain automation for the Cloud Marketplace Platform and DevX/Cloud infrastructure across Azure, AWS, GCP, and private clouds. You will leverage Ansible, Terraform, Python, and related technologies to deliver scalable, auditable automation and platform services.

You will build and evolve CI/CD pipelines, standardize practices, and drive AI adoption to accelerate software development while ensuring

Qualifications

• 3–5 years total development and automation using Ansible, Terraform, Python and related DevOps tech
• Extensive experience writing Ansible Playbooks and Terraform modules
• 3+ years automating IT infrastructure: compute (Windows/Linux), network, storage, databases
• 3+ years automating cloud resources in Azure and AWS
• 3+ years administering Ansible Infrastructure Platform
• 3+ years using version control (Azure DevOps or GitHub)
• Exposure to automating infrastructure in Nutanix private cloud environment

Responsibilities

• Drive platform modernization and self-service by developing scalable tools and services using Terraform, Ansible, Python, enabling auditable user experience.
• Accelerate engineering velocity by establishing and evolving CI/CD pipelines, branching strategies, coding standards.
• Scale infrastructure automation with Ansible, Terraform, PowerShell scripts, and ARM templates to improve reliability and efficiency.
• Drive AI adoption across ESS to accelerate software development and productivity.
• Operationalize automation at scale by transforming repeatable processes into resilient automation solutions.
• Provide end‑to‑end platform support via CTS framework to keep Automation platform operationally resilient.
• Strengthen security and governance by partnering with ISG for compliance across ESS offerings
