Job summary

CrowdStrike is seeking a senior backend engineer for the cloud authentication and authorization (authN/authZ) team in the Platform product group. You will help build services capable of making 1+ trillion decisions per day and scale to millions of events per second and terabytes of data per day.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science or commensurate experience in distributed systems.
• 12+ years of backend development experience.
• Ability to scale backend systems with sharding, partitioning and horizontal scaling.
• Desire to ship production code and operate at scale.
• Deep understanding of distributed systems and concurrency.

Responsibilities

• Lead backend engineering efforts from rapid prototypes to large-scale applications across CrowdStrike products.
• Leverage and build cloud-based systems to detect targeted attacks and automate cyber threat intelligence production at a global scale.
• Brainstorm, define, and build collaboratively with members across multiple teams.
• Mentor other developers on web, backend and data storage technologies and our system.
• Continuously re-evaluate architecture, knowledge models, and user experience for performance and reliability.
