Job summary

CrowdStrike Holdings, Inc. is seeking a backend engineer to join the cloud backend team within the Platform product group. You will build and scale API gateways, process terabytes of data daily, and enable secure, scalable services across CrowdStrike products.

The role is hybrid, requiring 2–3 days on-site per week at select locations. You will work with Go, Python, AWS, Kafka, and GraphQL to deliver high-scale software and empower threat intelligence globally.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems and scalability challenges.
• Experience shipping production-grade backend systems and collaborating across teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead backend engineering efforts from rapid prototypes to large-scale applications.
• Leverage cloud-based systems to detect threats and automate intelligence at global scale.
• Collaborate with multiple teams to design and build scalable backend platforms.
• Mentor others and raise the team's technical IQ while adopting new technologies.
• Continuously re-evaluate architecture for performance and reliability.
• Own deliverables with accountability and initiative.
