Job summary

CrowdStrike Holdings, Inc. is seeking an experienced backend engineer to join the cloud backend team within the Platform product group.

You will focus on authentication and authorization services capable of handling 1+ trillion decisions per day, working with Go, OAuth, AWS, and distributed storage at massive scale. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, mentor others, and continuously improve the system while delivering reliable, high-performance services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or commensurate experience.
• 12+ years of backend development experience.
• Proven ability to scale backend systems (sharding, partitioning, horizontal scaling).
• Experience shipping production code and working in test-driven environments.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems and concurrency.

Responsibilities

• Lead backend engineering efforts from prototypes to large-scale applications.
• Develop cloud-based systems to detect targeted attacks at global scale.
• Collaborate across multiple teams to design and implement solutions.
• Mentor teammates on web, backend, and data storage technologies.
• Continuously improve architecture, knowledge models, and performance.
