SMX is seeking a seasoned solutions architect to document design and implementation of secure, modular cloud solutions. You will collaborate with technical teams, produce design, sizing, and operations documentation, and guide development throughout the lifecycle.

This role requires active Top Secret clearance, AWS certification, and deep cloud architecture experience including hybrid multi-cloud models and data migration.

Qualifications

• Five years of professional experience as a solution architect or related role.
• Active Top Secret security clearance.
• AWS certification.
• Experience with all phases of the software development lifecycle.
• Deep familiarity with cloud architecture, including hybrid multi-cloud target architectures.
• Experience with data migration from on-premises to cloud environments.
• Experience with AI code conversion and GenAI-related code quality tools.
• Excellent verbal and written communication interfacing with customers.
• Self-starter who is detail-oriented and delivers quality results.

Responsabilités

• Collaborate with teams to document high-quality technological solutions and architecture models.
• Document system designs that feature open architecture, incorporating modularity to consolidate sub-systems into secure cloud environments.
• Provide technical assistance and guidance to support development teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Write comprehensive design, sizing, and operational documentation.
• Analyze existing project scopes and processes to recommend and implement improvements.
• Leverage DevSecOps principles and stay current with new technologies and third-party applications to solve complex problems.
