Job summary

Bright Vision Technologies is seeking a Cloud Solutions Architect for a 100% remote role in the United States. The candidate will design and govern cloud-native solutions across compute, networking, data, identity, and security on a major cloud platform, partnering with stakeholders to translate strategic objectives into scalable architectures aligned with enterprise standards.

The ideal candidate has breadth across cloud capabilities, depth in at least one provider, and strong judgment

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
Eight or more years of experience in software engineering or solution architecture roles.
Deep expertise designing cloud-native solutions on at least one major cloud platform.
Strong understanding of cloud networking, identity, and security primitives.
Experience with cloud migration, modernization, and platform consolidation programs.
Strong understanding of containerization, serverless, and managed data services.
Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
Experience producing formal architecture artifacts and presenting them to senior leadership.
Track record of leading architecture reviews and influencing engineering direction.
Cloud architecture certification (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

Responsibilities

Design and govern cloud-native solutions across compute, networking, data, identity, and security domains on a major cloud platform.
Partner with business stakeholders, security architects, and engineering teams to translate objectives into scalable cloud architectures.
Balance time-to-market, cost, security, and long-term maintainability with architectural judgment.
Provide architecture artifacts and present to senior leadership.
Lead architecture reviews and influence engineering direction.
