Job summary

Forge Forward Inc. seeks a Senior Cloud Engineer to design, deploy, and sustain mission-critical Azure architectures in DoD environments. This on-site role in Charleston, SC requires US citizenship and a Secret clearance.

The ideal candidate brings IL5/IL6 experience, strong Azure Government skills, and expertise in hybrid cloud, IAM, security, VDI, and IaC tooling like Terraform; experience with Azure Arc, ExpressRoute, and VPN Gateway is valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, IT or related field; relevant experience may substitute.
• DoD Cybersecurity workforce IAT Level II or equivalent certs (CompTIA Security+ or similar).
• US citizen with a Secret clearance and current SSBI/T5 investigation; TS/SCI desired.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, secure, and sustain Microsoft Azure architectures, preferring Azure Government.
• Engineer hybrid-cloud solutions with on-premises integration via Azure Arc.
• Develop repeatable infrastructure provisioning using Azure Automation and Terraform; leverage PowerShell, Bash, Python; support CI/CD.
