Job summary
Synechron is seeking a Senior Cloud Solution Architect to provide overall technical leadership for the AWS migration. You will define the target-state architecture, establish migration patterns and standards, and ensure requirements across apps, infrastructure, security, and operations are addressed throughout the program lifecycle.
The role offers strong compensation and benefits, with base salary ranging from $120k to $145k per year for Alpharetta, GA, plus regional benefits and growth
Qualifications
- 12+ years of enterprise architecture and software engineering experience.
- 8+ years designing and implementing cloud-based solutions.
- Demonstrated experience leading large-scale cloud migration and modernization programs.
- Deep expertise in AWS services, cloud-native architectures, infrastructure automation, resiliency, security, and disaster recovery.
- Experience working within highly regulated financial services environments.
Responsibilities
- Define and govern the target-state architecture.
- Lead application assessment and migration strategy development.
- Establish architectural standards, patterns, and guardrails.
- Provide technical oversight for migration, testing, cutover, and decommissioning activities.
- Identify and mitigate architectural, operational, and security risks.
- Support governance, design reviews, and executive-level decision making.
