Job summary

Synechron in New York is seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer to join our cloud modernization efforts. You will work with our Lead Engineer to design, implement, and operate AWS-based solutions across migration, deployment, and automation workstreams.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in software or cloud engineering, 3+ years AWS, and a strong background in IaC, CI/CD, monitoring, and enterprise-scale environments. We offer a competitive package and opportunities to work across global clients.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software, infrastructure, platform, or cloud engineering experience.
• 3+ years of hands-on AWS engineering experience.
• Experience supporting cloud migration, application modernization, or infrastructure transformation initiatives.
• Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD pipelines, scripting, monitoring, and automation tools.
• Experience supporting production systems in complex enterprise environments.

Responsibilities

• Implement cloud infrastructure and platform components within AWS.
• Support application migration, deployment, and modernization activities.
• Develop and maintain automation, deployment pipelines, and infrastructure templates.
• Configure monitoring, logging, security, and operational tooling.
• Troubleshoot and resolve migration-related technical issues.
• Support testing, environment readiness, and production cutover activities.
• Collaborate with architects and application teams to optimize performance, reliability, and operational supportability
