Base-2 Solutions, LLC in Reston, VA seeks a Sr. Cloud Engineer 3 to architect, design, and implement cloud solutions for mission customers leveraging cloud technologies.

You will mentor junior engineers, lead AWS-based infrastructure at scale, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure secure, compliant deployments.

The role requires TS/SCI with CI Poly, DoD 8140/8570 IAT II, extensive AWS experience (IL5–IL6), and strong Python/Bash scripting for automation.

Qualifications

Active Top Secret/SCI with CI Polygraph.
10+ years in cloud solution design and architecture.
8140/8570 DoD IAT Level II equivalent certification.
Extensive AWS cloud infra experience across IL5–IL6.
Hands-on AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, EBS).
Strong skills in IAM, SSO, federation and cloud security practices.
Proficient in Python/Bash for automation and orchestration.
Excellent communication for cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities
