Job summary

IFG Companies in New Jersey seeks a Senior Cloud Engineer to design, implement and maintain Azure-based infrastructure in alignment with security, compliance and enterprise standards. You will lead IaC, CI/CD pipelines and governance using Terraform and Azure DevOps, while supporting Kubernetes and containerization.

You will leverage deep Azure expertise, scripting skills, and the ability to work independently in a hybrid environment with on-site collaboration in Jersey City, NJ.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure engineering, with 7+ years focused on Microsoft Azure.
• Azure certifications (AZ-104, AZ-500 or AZ-305) preferred.
• Insurance/finance industry experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Architect, design, deploy and manage scalable Azure infrastructure aligned with enterprise standards and business goals.
• Develop and enforce cloud security architecture, controls and compliance per CIS/NIST CSF.
• Drive IaC, governance and standardization of deployments using Terraform and Azure DevOps.
• Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions or related tools.
• Configure dev/test/prod environments and automate deployments and config management.
• Support containerization and orchestration using Docker and AKS.
• Develop internal tools and dashboards for monitoring and optimization.
• Stay current with Azure innovations and propose improvements.
