Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and 9–12+ years of experience.
• Substantial experience designing and operating cloud, infrastructure, platform, or site reliability capabilities in production.
• Technical depth: proven ability to solve complex distributed-system problems and justify choices.
• Cloud engineering: hands-on with infrastructure as code, modern runtimes, networking, identity, and delivery automation.
• Production reliability: defined service objectives and used observability, capacity planning, and recovery testing.
• Incident leadership: investigated difficult failures and translated lessons into durable remediation.
• Automation judgment: strong coding skills and ability to validate AI-generated or automated outputs.
• Cross-team influence: mentoring engineers and guiding architecture/readiness decisions.
• Travel and on-site: up to 50% travel with hybrid office availability.

Responsabilidades

• Build shared cloud foundations with reusable infrastructure, environments, and deployment automation.
• Use AI-assisted engineering responsibly, reviewing, debugging, testing, and validating code.
• Guide complex designs by reviewing architectures, migrations, and releases with trade-offs for reliability and cost.
• Strengthen production readiness by defining evidence and readiness criteria before launch.
• Set reliability practices with objectives, observability, alerts, and operational reviews.
• Make cost and capacity visible by testing workload assumptions and guiding scaling decisions.
• Resolve difficult failures by leading deep investigations across distributed services and tests.
• Prove resilience with performance tests, failure simulations, and rollback paths.
• Turn lessons into reusable capabilities with reference implementations and runbooks.
• Raise engineering capability by coaching engineers and transitioning capabilities to owners.
