Job summary

Google Washington D.C. is seeking a Senior Cloud AI Abuse and Security Analyst to safeguard Cloud AI products at scale. You will investigate abuses, build scalable safety solutions, and collaborate across security, research, and product teams.

Requirements include a Bachelor's degree or equivalent, 5 years of data analysis and project leadership, and proficiency in Python/SQL. Preference for MS/PhD and experience with anomaly detection and AI safety.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience in data analysis, including identifying trends, generating summary statistics, and drawing insights from quantitative and qualitative data.
• 5 years of experience managing projects and defining project scope, goals, and deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deploy scalable safety solutions for Cloud AI using advanced machine learning.
• Analyze data to identify infrastructure vulnerabilities and patterns of AI abuse.
• Evaluate generative and agentic AI risks through benchmarking, dataset design, and monitoring.
• Define abuse standards for novel AI use cases to effectively counter hyperscale threats.
• Manage incident response and root cause analyses (RCAs) while partnering with teams to implement long-term security strategies.
