Job summary

Region Ten CSB in the Fluvanna County Clinic seeks Clinician I/II/III to assess and treat adults, children, families and groups, including individuals with substance use disorders and serious mental illness. The role requires supervision by the Director III and adherence to DBHDS regulations.

You will develop treatment plans, maintain documentation, and coordinate care with outside agencies while upholding ethics and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required for Clinician I; Master’s degree and licensure track required for Clinician II.
• Clinician III candidates must hold a related license (LPC, LCSW) and be registered with DHPS.
• Knowledge of counseling theories, DSM V, and crisis intervention.

Responsibilities

• Provides diagnostic assessment with initial treatment planning and recommendations.
• Provides individual and group counseling and education to clients.
• Provides crisis intervention as needed.
• Provides referrals and linkages to other services and supports.
• Develops individualized treatment plans and completes required documentation.
• Maintains contacts with outside agencies and serves as advocate for clients.
• Meets performance standards and participates in trainings.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
