Qualifications

• Master’s degree in counseling related field; eligible for licensure through the Virginia Board of Health Professions.
• 30+ hours internship or practicum with individuals who have mental illness.
• 1 year of experience with adults with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders preferred.
• Licensed or pursuing licensure; LMHP/Resident/Supervisee status as applicable for Medicaid reimbursement.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group counseling, education, and rehabilitation services.
• Work within a strengths-based, trauma-informed, person-centered framework.
• Coordinate care with Project LINK and Family Recovery Court docket.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to DBHDS regulations and agency policies.
