Job summary

Yakima Valley Farm Workers Clinic is seeking a Clinical Supervisor II in Yakima, WA. You will supervise, mentor, and train staff, while ensuring high-quality behavioral health services within our community health system.

The role emphasizes staff development, contract coordination with community providers, and oversight of clinical documentation and DSM-based practices. WA licensure eligibility and BLS are required.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work or related field required or acceptable depending on supervised programs.
• Two years of direct behavioral health experience including two years in supervisory role, or four years in lieu of supervision.
• Must meet Washington State requirements for Mental Health Professional designation.
• Licensure in one of WA: LMHC, LICSW, SUDP (SUD), LASW, LMFT.
• BLS certification within 45 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Supervises, coaches, mentors, and trains staff; conducts performance evaluations with HR guidance.
• Supports staff development and education, encouraging ongoing training opportunities.
• Monitors clinical records, counseling skills, and productivity via reviews and supervision sessions.
• Leads recruitment, onboarding, orientation, and policy adherence for staff.
• Acts as liaison to community agencies, higher education, and external providers.
• Coordinates contracts with outside mental health services in collaboration with leadership.
• Maintains knowledge of DSM, therapeutic modalities, and community resources.
• Provides limited direct patient care as needed, including therapy and counseling.
• Identifies staff training needs and develops materials for clinical staff and interns.
• Tracks training progress and reports status to committees.
• Occasional coverage for other supervisors or direct care staff.
