Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in addiction counseling, psychology, social work, counseling, nursing (with clinical admin/human services) plus 3 years clinical experience; OR Master's in related field with 2 years clinical experience including 1 year with substance use disorder.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and monitor training plans for clinical staff.
• Implements treatment schedule to promote appropriate clinical interventions.
• Provide close supervision of counselors and therapists and required documentation including electronic client health records and treatment entries.
• Intervene in difficult cases and approve all referrals to specialized care.
• Supervise aftercare component of treatment.
• Attend, participate, and facilitate meetings and special events such as retreats and workshops.
• Maintain a small client caseload when necessary.
• Support Gaudenzia's Standards of Conduct and all personnel policies and procedures.
• Maintain professional certificates and credentials.
• Be responsible for the facility when the Director is unavailable.
• Other related duties as assigned by Program Director or designee.
