Job summary

Gaudenzia, Inc. seeks a qualified professional to lead clinical supervision, staff training, and case supervision within our Philadelphia facilities.

You will oversee counselors, monitor treatment plans, and ensure compliant documentation in electronic health records while maintaining regulatory standards. The role requires appropriate licensure or certification in addiction counseling and significant experience with substance use disorders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree with relevant field and 3 years clinical experience (or 2 years for Master's) including work with individuals with Substance use disorder.
• Must have clinical license or be certified as Clinical Supervisor or be pursuing licensure with a completion date by 7/1/24 or within 3 years of hire.
• Complete department-approved core curriculum training including clinical supervision skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and monitor training plans for clinical staff based on client needs and regulatory requirements.
• Implement treatment schedules to promote appropriate clinical interventions.
• Provide close supervision of counselors/therapists and ensure documentation accuracy (EHRs, treatment entries).
• Intervene in difficult cases and approve referrals to specialized care.
• Supervise aftercare component of treatment.
• Attend and facilitate meetings and events as needed.
• Maintain a small client caseload when necessary.
• Support Gaudenzia's Standards of Conduct and personnel policies.
• Maintain professional certificates and credentials.
• Be responsible for the facility when the Director is unavailable.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Program Director.
