Job summary

Ipsen seeks a Senior Clinical Science Specialist to lead complex accounts in the Allentown, PA region. You will combine clinical expertise with commercial acumen to drive strategic decisions and outcomes, engaging diverse stakeholders and leveraging data to guide plans.

Eight years in life sciences with a track record in rare or specialty areas and 3+ years in specialty biopharma sales are preferred. BA/BS required; MBA or advanced degree a plus.

Qualifications

• Eight years life-sciences experience, including at least five years in rare or specialty areas, and at least three years in specialty biopharma sales.
• Ideal candidates have experience in GI and/or Hepatology.
• Proven track record for consistently meeting or exceeding quantitative and qualitative targets.
• Demonstrated understanding of the payer and clinical landscape, especially in specialty & rare diseases.

Responsibilities

• Achieve or exceed objectives associated with assigned brands, including sales, share, and KPIs.
• Navigate multi-stakeholder organizations including hospitals and healthcare communities.
• Manage geography and customer accounts with prioritization, reporting, and resource use.
• Develop professional relationships with customers in patients' best interests, per Ipsen policies.
• Engage in in-depth conversations with physicians based on approved resources and messages.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve customer needs with urgency.
• Review and analyze market/customer data to support strategic planning.
