Job summary

Mass General Brigham is seeking a Clinical Research Program Manager to lead the clinical research operations of a multidisciplinary inflammation program at onsite Boston. You will supervise staff, design studies, and coordinate startup and regulatory tasks across investigators and labs.

The role collaborates with the Broad Institute and translational teams to integrate clinical data with genomic and molecular analyses, driving high-quality research outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field required.
• Master’s degree preferred in public health, biology, or clinical research.
• 5+ years of research-related experience required.
• 2+ years supervisory experience strongly preferred; 2+ years managing clinical research preferred.
• Experience with REDCap clinical research database and data management preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day operations of multiple clinical research studies in inflammatory and immune-mediated conditions.
• Design, initiate, and implement human subjects research protocols and safety monitoring plans with investigators.
• Supervise, train, and support Clinical Research Coordinators and study staff, including recruitment, data abstraction, biospecimen handling, and data quality.
• Coordinate study startup activities and ensure regulatory, operational, and scientific requirements are met.
• Prepare and submit IRB protocols, amendments, continuing reviews, and related materials.
• Serve as liaison among investigators, IRB, sponsors, labs, and collaborating teams.
• Develop study operations manuals, SOPs, CRFs, and other documentation.
• Establish project plans, milestones, risks, and dependencies to keep projects aligned with goals.
• Report progress to investigators and funding bodies; prepare study reports.
