Job summary

Mass General Brigham seeks a Senior Clinical Research Program/Project Manager to coordinate the clinical research program administration. This role reports to the AMC Division of Allergy and Clinical Immunology Division Director and the Manager of Finance & Research Administration, collaborating with the Director of Clinical Research.

You will oversee protocol management, supervise staff, support PI strategic planning, manage data, budgeting, and trial billing, and help train coordinators.

Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of federal and institutional policies governing clinical research.
• A broad understanding of Hospital practices and policies to assess and direct a wide range of practice issues.
• Knowledge of clinical research protocols.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and related software; ability to learn new systems quickly.
• Oncore and clinical trials.gov.
• Ability to handle confidential information and maintain professionalism.
• Detail-oriented, proactive, and adaptable to changing priorities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Oversee administrative aspects of multiple clinical research projects from start to finish.
• Define scope, goals, deliverables, and timelines; delegate tasks to study coordinators.
• Develop protocols with PI and coordinators; ensure adherence to protocols and data standards.
• Manage budgets, procurement, and financial transactions.
• Handle IRB submissions, continuing reviews, and regulatory reporting.
• Develop recruitment strategies and screen participants; liaise with patients and PIs.
• Coordinate data transfers and create data collection systems.
• Support trial billing activities and time tracking.
• Provide training and supervision of junior staff.
