Job summary

Intuitive is seeking a Senior Clinical Research Engineer, Future Forward, to lead pre-clinical design and development of new product concepts before commercial launch. You will work with engineers, physicians, designers, and other experts to guide clinical validation, usability studies, and documentation, shaping devices from concept through readiness for market.

Qualifications

• Fluent in medical terminology and anatomy.
• Experience with complex robotic systems and software.
• Experience in OR or interventional suite environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead pre-clinical design and development of new product concepts for pre-commercial launch.
• Guide product and procedure development with multi-disciplinary teams.
• Proctor early feasibility clinical studies and gather case insights.
• Identify clinical needs and translate into user-centric designs for new platforms.
