Job summary

Morehouse School of Medicine is seeking a Clinical Research Coordinator II to independently manage significant aspects of one or more clinical trials, while training staff and guiding data management for research projects.

The role interfaces with study participants, resolves protocol issues, and may oversee purchases and equipment maintenance. QA/QC and IRB coordination are also part of duties.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of GCP/ICH guidelines and clinical research regulatory requirements.
• Strong computer skills with MS Office suite.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to document and report findings clearly.

Responsibilities

• Independently manages significant aspects of large clinical trials or multiple small trials.
• Trains and mentors junior staff; provides guidance.
• Oversees data management for research projects; ensures accuracy and integrity.
• Interacts with research participants and resolves protocol issues.
• Manages purchases for supplies and equipment.
• Develops strategies for recruitment and retention of participants.
