Job summary

MedStar Health’s Washington Hospital Center seeks a Clinical Research Coordinator III who can independently coordinate complex clinical trials across phases with minimal oversight, ensuring regulatory readiness and data integrity.

You will manage regulatory submissions, informed consent, data entry in CTMS/REDCap, safety reporting, and collaboration with study teams to support quality research and participant safety.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required, or allied health or related professional degree and equivalent work experience.
• 3-4 years Clinical research or related experience required.
• Experience as a clinical research coordinator in the clinical research field required.

Responsibilities

• Oversees prepares submits and maintains all regulatory submissions accurately and timely; ensures delegation of authority.
• Oversees the informed consent process and educates staff and participants about protocol expectations and conduct of trials.
• Enter and verify data in CTMS and related databases; supports data management and resolves data queries.
• Monitors participant safety; reports adverse events and assists in classifying and addressing them.
