Job summary

Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) seeks a seasoned Clinical Research Coordinator to lead and coordinate complex multi-center studies within the Chan Lab, focusing on maternal and child health. You will manage study plans, timelines, budgets, and cross-disciplinary collaboration with investigators and partners.

The role requires strong communication, mentoring, and data-management skills; experience with IRB processes and public health research is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is required.
• Master's degree in a related field is preferred.
• Minimum four years of clinical/research coordination experience is required.
• Five years of experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Applies in-depth knowledge of clinical research and coordinates activities of large multi-center studies.
• Oversees study budgets, management, and monitoring.
• Ensures oversight at one or more sites/institutions.
• May conduct monitoring activities at sites/institutions.
• Prepares sites for internal/external regulatory audits (sponsor, FDA, NIH).
• Educates and mentors internal and external clinical staff and coordinators; provides guidance on difficult protocols.
