Job summary

NYU Grossman School of Medicine invites applications for a Senior Research Coordinator to initiate, coordinate, and manage research studies at the Medical Center. You will oversee financial and protocol development, manage recruitment, enrollments, grants, and study coordination, and ensure Good Clinical Practices and HIPAA compliance.

You will guide staff, collaborate with Principal Investigators, and interface with internal and external funding sources while working autonomously to advance

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in business administration, health care administration or related discipline.
• Minimum of four years of progressively responsible related experience coordinating clinical/research trials.
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Effective oral, written, communication, interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Recruitment: manage the recruitment process for studies, screen potential participants for eligibility, schedule interviews and coordinate materials.
• Data collection and analysis: develop data tools, collect data from diverse participants, perform basic analyses and help prepare manuscripts.
• Project management: oversee study planning and multiple projects, monitor progress and take actions to meet objectives.
• Grants: assist in grant preparation and related activities, coordinate required paperwork.
• Study regulations: ensure regulatory compliance, assist with informed consent, and liaise with IRB/Office of Clinical Trials as needed.
