Job summary

Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago is seeking a Clinical Research Coordinator to oversee multi-study projects, ensure regulatory compliance, and manage study documentation from start-up to close-out.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Science and 2+ years of research experience, with strong organizational and communications skills, and familiarity with FDA, HSR, and GCP guidelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and two or more years research experience required.
• Two-three years with complex research projects preferred.
• Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple simultaneous studies.
• Strong verbal and written communications skills.
• Strong knowledge of FDA, HSR, and GCP Guidelines.
• May assist in technology system implementation.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, problem solve, and mentor.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates all clinical research projects from start-up to close-out.
• Oversees site visits and regulatory compliance throughout study activities.
• Maintains regulatory documents and SOPs; assists with FDA submissions as needed.
• Ensures ethical conduct and data integrity across studies.
• Manages study supplies, documentation, and data dictionaries; tracks deadlines and grants.
• Engages participants, conducts informed consent, and coordinates reimbursements.
• Performs data abstraction, entry, QA/QC, and supports statistical analyses.
• Assists in budget preparation and grant reporting; supports the PI and central offices.
• Provides training and mentorship to study personnel; supports onboarding.
