Qualifications

• Experience administering clinical research studies in an academic medical center is preferred.
• Experience with oncology clinical trials is strongly preferred.
• Experience with clinical trial billing, coverage analyses, or related healthcare revenue cycle activities.
• Experience using OnCore, Epic, or comparable clinical trial management or billing systems.

Responsibilities

• Reviews billing designation in OnCore/Epic to determine appropriate charges.
• Interprets protocols, consent forms, and billing plans for billing rights.
• Reviews charges for oncology trial patients to distinguish research vs routine care.
• Performs charge review and reconciliation to find discrepancies.
• Collaborates with study teams to resolve billing questions and discrepancies.
• Identifies trends and suggests improvements to billing workflows.
