Job summary

Parexel is seeking an experienced Senior Clinical Research Associate based in the South West to manage site delivery of clinical trials. You will be the primary contact for site management, monitoring, and study execution activities, ensuring patient safety, compliance, and quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a life science or related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• Significant clinical research experience with demonstrated site monitoring and trial execution.
• Excellent knowledge of ICH GCP and local regulatory requirements.
• Good understanding of CTMS, eTMF, and other clinical trial systems.
• Ability to travel nationally and internationally as required.

Responsibilities

• Lead site preparation, initiation, monitoring, and close out per protocol, ICH GCP, sponsor procedures, and local regulations.
• Serve as the primary contact for investigative sites and support patient recruitment goals.
• Train and advise investigators and site personnel on study requirements and risk-based quality management.
• Conduct onsite and remote monitoring visits, data verification, and CRF review per monitoring plans.
• Identify and elevate site issues to ensure timely resolution and study progress.
• Perform site risk assessments and adapt monitoring activities throughout the study lifecycle.
• Ensure timely reporting of SAEs, queries, and data collection.
• Maintain accurate study information in CTMS and other systems.
• Support document management in eTMF and site files for inspection readiness.
• Collaborate with local teams and stakeholders to support audits and inspections.
• Manage study supplies and drug accountability as required.
• Share insights on site performance and investigator engagement to support success.
